Trout....
in the classroom |
|
|
If you're an educator or work at a school in Connecticut, you should know that we have a program available to schools that allow the children to raise trout from eggs to fingerlings, teaching among other things, the food, habitat and conditions that trout and other fish need to survive, conservation efforts and more.
For more information on getting your school involved, click
here.
On a side note, our conservation chairman applied for and the chapter has been approved to receive several hundred trees and shrubs for planting on the Housatonic watershead this year. Click
