Last week, e-NABLE France gathered two dozen teachers from around Europe to Denmark and introduced them to 3D printing. By the end of their week-long program, each teacher had built a usable 3D printed hand. “The response was so overwhelming. We invited teachers from all over Europe, and the children themselves were teaching the teachers,” said. founder Thierry Oquidam. |

Is This the 3D Printed Leg We've Been Waiting For?
The project aims to evaluate the resistance of an existent leg device and validate if it can be used safely or will need structural adjustments. At the end of the project we will be able to mathematically validate if this 3D printed leg David is fit for use. In the April 27 presentation, the following topics will be presented:
- The student researcher, and project supporters;
- Transtibial Biomechanical Prosthesis;
- Technology involved in the feasibility study;
- Necessary resources for conducting the study.

Sydney Microfactory Upcycles E-waste into 3D Printer Filament
One person's trash is another person's 3D printing filament. Waste materials fed into the Sydney factory include mobile phones and laptops. Plastics in these devices can be broken down and melted into 3D printing filament. “With China refusing to take imported waste, the rest of the world needs to be dealing with this rubbish domestically, and seeing this waste as a resource.”
