Laissez les bons temps rouler!
Letting the good times roll might be
just what we all need in this doom and gloom atmosphere. So, I say,
let's go have some fun, and where better to do that than the beautiful
city of NewOrleans?
Join Chez Cherie in May for a 4-day Culinary Tour of New Orleans! We'll eat,
we'll walk (in a great walking town),
we'll eat again, and we'll even get out on the bayou (before we eat
again--at a crawfish boil!). I've visited New Orleans several times
since the storm, and I can tell you that the city is ready, willing and
grateful to receive visitors, so let's go give them some love!
Please take a look at what I think is a terrific
itinerary--food-centric, of course, and what else would you do in NOLA?
I'm equally excited by the big-deal dinner prepared in Chef John Besh's
restaurant, August and by the muffeleta at Napolean House. (Who knows
the main difference between muffeletas at Napolean House and rival
Central Grocery?)
I'm really looking forward to a fabulous foodventure in one of my
favorite places on Earth, and I hope you'll be along for the fun! If you
are interested, please let us know immediately, so we'll have some idea
of whether we've got enough interested parties to make this happen.
New Cooking Class Schedule is out!
Whether or not you can join us in New Orleans, take a look at the
new cooking class schedule that we just put together- lots of great
classes on tap. A Basics Series, Budget Bistro, Afternoon Tea, some Grilling Classes, more Trader Joe's classes, Tapas Party, Saveur Cooks Italian Classics, and lot's more fun stuff.
Have a look:
