Tax Saving Trusts (6LH, 2 LRE)

This course covers the use of the living trust in estate planning and avoiding probate, distribution of assets, and estate tax savings. Irrevocable trusts, Life Insurance Trusts, and Generation Skipping Trusts are covered. Coordinating the trust with life, disability, long term care and health insurance policies is discussed.

Courses & Credits

Licensees may fulfill their continuing education requirements by earning the required credit hours as follows:

Producers must complete 24 credit hours. Of the 24 credit hours, at least 6 hours in each major line held, plus at least 3 hours in Laws/Reg/Ethics; and the balance in any type, line or combination.

Insurance CE Available in 2010
Because of the fact that about 70% of CT licensees are required to complete their CE in the ODD numbered years, schools will NOT be able to provide as many classes in 2010. Therefore, we STRONGLY urge you to plan accordingly.
