Hi Bichon Lovers
The October/November issue of our BFK newsletter has been posted, complete with timely articles (read about medical insurance for your furkid) and lots of happy adoption stories, along with adorable bichon photos. We are so grateful that there are so many wonderful people, like you, who love this breed as we do.
As we head into the holidays, we will be having some get-togethers. Please continue to check the Events page on our web site as we are adding new events all the time. Please bookmark: www.bichonfurkids.org/events
If you live in the Bay area please join us for a Wine Tasting and Silent Auction on Oct. 30th. It promises to be a delightful evening in Napa (are there any other kind?) You can learn about what promise to be some of your (new) favorite wines and share stories and anecdotes with fellow bichon lovers. RSVP: Donna Rogers at 707-225-4125 or drrodgers1999@yahoo.com
The second event is on Nov. 7th in Southern California and we are calling it “We Oughta Be in Pictures!” Here’s your chance to get a professional pet portrait of your furkid just in time for holiday mailings. More details including how to sign up for your time slot are in the article on Page 3. RSVP Diana Andrews at 951-375-6717 or email her at dandrews@altmanplants.com
Third on our list of events is the Fall Fur Fest at My Perfect Pet Kitchen in Poway. See what many of us are now feeding our furkids – the healthiest, freshest dog good around. RSVP info@myperfectpet.net
And if you are someone who orders from Amazon or shops at Ralphs, there are ways you can help BFK at the same time. If you shop at Ralphs please you can go online and list Bichon FurKids as the charity of your choice. That’s all you do (other than your normal shopping.) At the end of each quarter Ralphs will send a check to BFK and tell us which of you were so kind as to include us. Thanks in advance! And if you like to order from Amazon (anything from books to bedding, dog accessories to electronics you can now initiate Amazon orders from any page on our web site. Just look for the Amazon ‘box’ on the left side of each page, click on it and place your order – and Amazon will make a donation to BFK.
