With the adoption of the Constitution 234 years ago, our country’s founders
set up a democratic republic on a scale never before tried. Over the years,
America has faced many challenges that could have broken the country apart
but never did. How did we achieve this noteworthy feat? How do we assure the continuation of America’s democratic republic in the future? For insightful
answers, join us this Friday when Major General David Richwine, USMC, retired will present: “Responsible Citizens - the Lifeblood of America”. He will give us his thoughts on the Idea of America, its current condition and challenges, the responsibilities of citizens and suggestions on ways we can preserve our democratic republic for future generations.
