Go Bucs!!

The varsity Bucs are now 4-0 in region play. The Bucs have defeated Nathanael Greene, John Hancock, Covenant Academy and Curtis Baptist. They play the Jaguars from Thomas Jefferson this Friday night in a longtime rival match up! Gametime will be 7:30 and we will be recognizing our Seniors at pregame, so come a little early! At halftime of Friday nights game, we will be honoring those graduates from 1971, 1981, 1991 and 2001! Hope to see all Buccaneers on October 22!!

Friday, Oct. 22: Varsity Bucs vs. Thomas Jefferson at 7:30pm at home
Senior Appreciation (pregame) and recognition of the

classes of 1971, 1981, 1991 and 2001 at halftime
Saturday, Oct. 23: Varsity and middle school competition cheerleaders will

compete at Tattnall Square Academy at 10:00am in Macon

Josh Land, a 2002 graduate of Briarwood and 2006 graduate of The Citadel, was deployed to Afghanistan on September 12th. He is second in command of his unit. I am sure you have heard of the recent deaths of two soldiers from our area. These men were in Josh's unit. We just want Josh to know that we love him and are so proud of what he is doing for our country. Members of the junior class are taking orders for Riversweet Citrus Fruit and live Christmas Greenery. The fruit will arrive around the 9th of December.
The greenery will arrive on the 7th of December and should remain fresh throughout the Christmas season. To order greenery, please print the order form below, complete, and return to the school office. All orders are due by Oct. 28th.

Great season Mighty Bucs!!!

The Mighty Bucs finished their season last night against the Gators from Gatewood. They finished with an outstanding record of 7-3. The Bucs defeated AAA school: John Milledge, several AA schools: Edmund Burke and Brentwood and A schools: Nathanael Greene, John Hancock and Thomas Jefferson. The Mighty Bucs were coached by BA graduates Jay Reese '87 and Chad Mosley '91. Assistant coaches for the Bucs were: Bryan Corbitt and Butch Stadler

The Mighty Bucs were cheered on by an abundance of excited Mighty Buc cheerleaders at all of the home games. The cheerleaders will continue their season as they prepare for competition season. The Mighty Buc cheerleaders are coached by Mary Lynn Banks '87 Reese.
