It's called Myouga. It's a kind of Japanese ginger often used to flavor soups. Just harvested!
I promise not to burn any during your next treatment. Although I might prescribe its use. I don't think it's part of the Chinese medical pharmacopia but the three types of ginger in use all "warm the middle burner" or stimulate digestive function and enhance immunity.
