Merry Christmas! to you and yours from the folks at Arphax, publishers of the Family Maps and Texas Land Survey Maps series. 2009 is coming to a close and that's probably not a bad thing. In spite of tough times, we find ourselves blessed by a dedicated group of loyal customers and researchers who continually choose our tools to improve their historical and genealogical research efforts.
And for this, we offer a humble, yet enthusiastic THANK YOU!
This little note of thanks corresponds with a groundbreaking moment in our history---we have just opened up the new Arphax.com web-site in the last few days; this has been in the works for well over seven months and it's finally available to you. Below, we'll share how this opens up a unique genealogical shopping experience that you're going to want to check out.
While we won't belabor the point just yet, we will simply mention that the main benefit to you by this site will come in the future---when we use it as a framework to share many unique new tools currently in development. For that, we'll just ask that you stay tuned. In the meanwhile, we are proud to announce the following . . .
40 New Book Titles
Check out the home-page of our new web-site, where you'll find links to all 40 of our latest titles along the left-hand side of the page.
New titles are included for counties in Alabama, Arkansas, Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Louisiana, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Mississippi, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin
.
Web-Site Improvements Galore
Most of the improvements will be evident at first glance, but here's a list of just a few . . .
Easier Navigation
Better Title and Surname Search Capabilities (available anywhere in the Store)
Hundreds of CD products and tools from other publishers
And lastly . . .
Hardbound Volumes - Easy to Find
For some time, you had to really look hard to find our hardbound books on our web-site. Not any longer! Now, they are prominently located in a major category available from the main store page along the left-hand side of the page. What's more, while viewing any of our spiral-bound book pages, you can find a link to its hardbound edition along the right-hand side of the page under the heading RELATED PRODUCTS.
Click HERE if you'd like to jump directly to the Hardbound Book area of our site.

Lots of New Products from Partner Publishers
In the coming months, we will share some details about our favorite partner publishers. These are folks whose work compliments ours, either presenting land-ownership maps for different places (like Pennsylvania and Kansas, for instance) or in different time-periods, and usually in CD-format, rather than in book form. If you have visited our booth at National Conferences then you may have seen some of these tools, but now, for the first time, they are ALL available from our web-site. These include: Pennsylvania Atlases on CD, Early Pennsylvania Patent Maps and Indexes on CD and in Books, Statewide atlases for MANY States. Finally, these include scanned-to-CD County Historical Biographies for most counties in Arkansas and Missouri.
We will share more details about these great research aids in future newsletters. For now, check them out when you have a minute. You're going to like what you see.
Click HERE if you'd like to check out the CDs and Other Publishers area of our new site.
