Meet Delegate Jay Leftwich
Delegate Jay Leftwich was elected to the Virginia House of Delegates in November 2013 and represents the new 90th House District.
Prior to the House of Delegates, he served on the Chesapeake School Board where he was Vice Chair from 2010 to 2012 and Chairman from 2012 until he was elected to the General Assembly.
Jay serves is the Chairman of the House Committee on General Laws and serves on the Privileges and Elections, and Courts of Justice Committees. In addition, he is the Chair VGIN Advisory Board, and serves on the Code Commission, VASAP, and Cannabis Oversight Commission. He also serves on The Broad Band Advisory Council, the Judicial and Child Support Guidelines Panel and the Judicial Council of Virginia.
Jay attended the Sorensen Institute of Political Leadership at the University of Virginia and has been a member of Virginia State Bar since 1988. He is a partner at the law firm of Basnight, Kinser, Leftwich & Nuckolls. He resides with his wife, Renee and their 5 children in Chesapeake, VA.

Meet Senator Bill DeSteph
Senator DeSteph believes in smaller, smarter government, and will work tirelessly on behalf of the citizens of Virginia Beach to promote public safety, free-market capitalism, energy independence, and private-sector job creation throughout the commonwealth and our great nation. He was elected to the Senate of Virginia in November 2015 to represent the 8th District. Senator DeSteph has previously served in the Virginia House of Delegates (2014-2016) and on Virginia Beach City Council (2006-2014).
A Desert Storm veteran, Senator DeSteph proudly served in the United States Navy, both as a chief petty officer and as a naval special-warfare intelligence officer. He later joined the defense technology firm AMTI as a senior vice president and co-owner, where he assisted in the growth and eventual sale of the company.
DeSteph has given his time and resources to the city of Virginia Beach for years, coaching youth sports as well as volunteering for the Children’s Hospital of the King’s Daughters, Prevent Child Abuse Hampton Roads, the Noblemen, Hampton Roads Community Care and the Naval Special Warfare Foundation. He also serves on the Boy Scouts of America Tidewater Council Board of Directors, Cape Henry Rotary Club and is an active member of Law Enforcement United, participating in the annual “Road to Hope” charity bicycle event. Each Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve, he and a dedicated group of volunteers can be found serving dinner at the Judeo Christian Outreach Center.
Beyond politics, Bill and his wife Helen are parents to five adult children and two grandchildren. In his free time, Bill can be found cooking, cheering on the Superbowl Champion Kansas City Chiefs, and enjoying the outdoors.

From I-264 West take the Independence Blvd - Pembroke exit. Continue up Independence to Virginia Beach Blvd. and turn right. Continue to Central Park Ave. and turn right. The Armada Hoffler Tower Parking Garage entrance will be on your left next to California Pizza Kitchen.
City Club members and guests should take the South Elevator to the lobby. Exit to the right and turn right at the flower shop. Take this set of elevators to the 2nd floor and exit left into the Town Center City Club.

The Republican Professionals Network (RPN) is an organization of Business and Occupational Professionals who are Republican. In addition to being a Political Action Committee, the Republican Professionals Network also serves as a Networking Organization. The RPN was founded in 1997 by its Chairman, Bruce Meyer and typically holds a Dinner Meeting with a special guest speaker the third Monday of each month at the City Club located in the Virginia Beach Town Center. The RPN Board of Directors are the governing body of the
Republican Professionals Network.
