Knowing about your past lives helps you understand your relationships and experiences in your present life. If you are unable to access past life information, I provide several means to do so.

Influence of Past Lives

Frequently I am asked if someone is their soul mate. You have to understand that a soul mate is any soul with whom you have had previous lives. It can be a parent, a child, a lover, a boss or neighbor. Prior to incarnation, our soul determines who we will meet during our lifetime and what the nature of the relationship will be, based on our past life experiences with that soul. Each recurring lifetime with the same soul is an opportunity to resolve or complete some issue or to master a lesson needed for soul evolution.

For example, if you did that person harm, you have a chance to make up for it. If you were separated due to circumstances beyond your control, you have a chance to unite again. If they saved your life and you vowed to be there for them if they ever needed you, those circumstance will materialize. The soul has a memory of every life experience so there can be continuity.    

Even if you have a lifetime with a person who is abusive, you have chosen this experience to empower yourself. Souls agree to play certain roles for their mutual learning. We encounter souls who have the same lessons to learn because the law of attraction is always at work. Both an abuser and victim have the same lesson of empowerment to learn. The abuser needs to learn this lesson because they feel disempowered. Otherwise they would not abuse anyone.

Think of the people in your life like actors on a stage. One plays the protagonist and the other the antagonist. After the play is over, everyone is friends and goes out for a beer.

People have been wondering for years if everything in our lives is predetermined or we have free will. The answer to that question is that both occur. Your soul determines what experiences and people can best help you evolve. But during each lifetime, you choose how you will respond to any given situation so you have an opportunity to express your free will. Free will determines how you think, feel and act.

There are several ways you can recognize people from your past lives. Sometimes they just feel familiar, like you have known them before. If you have several children, you may feel more of an affinity for one than the others because you have known them before, even though you love them all. When you meet a partner you may feel like you were meant to be together. You may instantly like or dislike someone upon meeting them. You may have déjà vu experiences where you spontaneously recall past lives. You may have dreams where you see yourself in another era. If you experience such situations, I would suggest you ask further questions during meditation or from your guides to gain more information.

Our souls plan for all the people we encounter. Whenever I meet a new person, I immediately ask myself “Why has this person has shown up in my life?”  “Am I supposed to learn from them, teach them something, do something for them or repay some karma?” “What kind of relationship I will have with them, will it be a long relationship, what do I need to learn from this relationship and have I known them before and in what circumstances?” There are no coincidences. It is important to know the roles you played because they will continually repeat themselves until they are healed or changed.

If you are unable to access past life information, here are a few ways to do this. Ask to recall your past lives just prior to falling asleep or waking up as this sends a message to your subconscious mind. Meditate with the focus on accessing information about past connections to a particular person or situation. Ask your guides questions about your experiences, if you are able. Use a pendulum if you have difficulty to speak with your guides.
