Did you know the Long Beach Cinematheque has been accepted as an Official Charity of this year’s Long Beach Marathon?  It's not too late to join our team!!

This means YOU can now register to run one of the most celebrated marathons in America on October 7, and in support of our organization’s ongoing efforts to foster a vibrant and eclectic film and arts scene in Long Beach! 100% of the sponsorship support you raise will be donated to the Cinematheque, and will be directly applied to our largest project to date – the 2013 Long Beach Film Festival! 

The Long Beach International City Bank Marathon offers participants four options – a full Marathon, half Marathon, 26.2 Bike Tour, and the popular Run Forrest Run 5K!

Start your Crowdrise Fundraising Page, raise $300, and we'll cover your registration fee for you!

3. Follow directions to sign up, upload photo or video, and share your story 
4. Share your Crowdrise page with everyone you know!

Run in costume! Some of our early registrants have expressed interest in running as classic cinema characters – we have a Braveheart, and quite possibly a Marilyn!  Do the 5K as Chaplin, or James Dean, or a Zombie!!  Costumes aren’t mandatory, but FUN - plus, we will have prizes for the best costumes!!
