Improvements to Dead River Landing

New parking area, camp sites and camping areas

Thanks in large part to a $175,000 grant from the Northwest Florida Water Management District the Dead River Landing has received several much needed improvements recently and is scheduled to re-open within the week. A popular fishing and hunting access to the Choctawhatchee River, Dead River Landing has been used by locals and visitors alike for many years. During hunting season it is common to have numerous campers at the site.
