DIG IN: FOOD, ART AND COMMUNITY ACTION IN OAKVILLE

 

INVITATION

 

This afternoon roundtable will bring together a variety of speakers to discuss the history of local agriculture, and current efforts toward sustainable food production in the area. Representatives from Oakville Galleries, Transition Oakville, Oakville Historical Society, Clearview Christian Reformed Church and Clover Roads Organic Farm will address a diversity of strategies that are being employed to develop awareness of and engagement with local food production.

This programme is co-presented by Oakville Galleries and Transition Town Oakville, a program of Oakvillegreen Conservation Association, and is supported in part by the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
