Schoen Place Auto Nominated For 2012 American Business Ethics Award
We are very honored to announce that Schoen Place Auto has been nominated for the 2012 American Business Ethics Award, the nation's most prestigious business ethics award. We were first nominated for this award in 2011 and were a finalist that year. In 2010, Schoen Place Auto was the recipient of Rochester Business Ethics Award.
No other automotive business including the large dealers has ever received this recognition locally and nationally.
It's about a 6 month process of documentation on business processes, employee, customer, supplier and community input, interviews, and ultimately the review and decision of a group of judges selected across the country.
While the award is important, I view the validation the award represents as even more important. It validates that what we promise our customers in terms of ethics, competence, quality, and a superior customer experience is real and credible and not just the same words and false promises so many others in the automotive business make.
The judges will complete their work by mid-August and we will share the results once known. |
