We have been on the move for the last month - We went to Texas for the first Texas Nuclear Alliance - It was very inspiring to see that they focused on end users and financers - the real people who will get advanced reactors built ( or even plain old nuclear) We need everyone onboard in order to get this done - especially customers & bankers.

   Unfortunately, the meeting left me, a guy from Illinois, jealous.

My Governor betrayed his own party and rejected all but small reactors as the approved size for Illinois - why is a state making arbitrary size distinctions!?!?!? WHY?

  Texas will let their industry pick what they want and how big they want it.

Illinois will go from the most nuclear state in the nation , to a middle of the road also ran with an ever shrinking fleet ( I am bereft thinking of the loss of ZION in illinois - a horribly mismanaged reactor that would be making 2,400 critical carbon free megawatts an hour today if we had any vision . . . )

   Lets hope Texas leads the way and shames the rest of the country and the world by creating vast amounts of carbon free and abundant energy for its people and industries.

 

 

      And Now! 

   We leave for El Salvador, where we once again are doing our small part to point this brave forward looking country to the future of energy abundance.

   The work being done now, will give the people of El Salvador the prosperity and opportunities that only Thorium based Power and Critical materials can Provide.

We got a round of questions back from the reviewers at ARPAe for our proposals to revive uses of Thorium as a critical material - We think it is funny that several of the responses are along the lines of - " Thorium can't do All of This !!! ". ( It sure can . . .)

    We have answered all the questions and now we wait along with all of you to see if we can get some support from the DoE to revive and create new uses for this Material.

   Note: As grateful as we would be, we wonder what the future holds with the new administration - we will speak about that, and at what point do we still work - or just continue to do all of this work on our own.

    The fact that it was essentially against DoE policy to fund thorium projects a while ago and now we may be able to work together with the DoE to revive thorium . . . it is truly astounding progress.
