What do trapeze artists and local chess champs have in common?

Thanks to STREB, on Thursday, April 7, quite a bit! STREB offers trapeze art at its most extreme – think Cirque du Soleil in Brooklyn. For 30 years, they have been creating magic in an annual, all-ages show in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. This year, they will be bringing their exciting blend of artistry, music and human strength back to Brooklyn with an amazing new show.  And, they are inviting the local chess scene to celebrate with them!

Join us! Every ticket purchased will help support IS 318, PS 31 and PS 139 in their quest for the state and national championships this spring! Do it for chess...do it for these awesome kids...do it because it will be a heck of a lot of fun.

$25 General Admission tx includes popcorn & soda for the show. Better yet, VIP tx will get you into a Pre-Show Party with an open bar and light dinner and open bar during intermission: $50 adults, $30 kids.

Spring is almost here and our annual McGolrick Egg Hunt is around the corner! As with last year, we'll have thousands and thousands of eggs. The hunts will run as long as eggs last.

Families and kids will also get to meet the Easter Bunny and enjoy craft activities and face painting.  Rock with DJ Natalie and Baby DJ School. Check out a beautiful plant and yummy bake sale by PS 31 PTA. Wear your colorful bonnets, pack a picnic lunch and join us to welcome Spring!

The McGolrick Egg Hunt is a delightful community effort with parents pitching in to hide the eggs and run the hunts. PS 31 PTA, Boy Scout Troop 26 and St. John's Lutheran Church are among the community groups joining us for a fun day in the park.
