Our Go Green BK calendar is overflowing with fun and free/low-cost greentastic events. Let’s celebrate and care for our beautiful world together. Go birding, fishing, and kayaking. Take a Grand Army Plaza Arch tour and a Brooklyn Bridge waterfront walk. Experience a traditional tea service conducted by a 4th generation tea master. Learn about the Billion Oyster Project and how to take care of houseplants. Get fit with boxing, longevity stick, yoga, zumba, and an uplifting wellness walk. Drop by a community garden summer fundraiser, a block party, and a spectacular fireworks show. Enjoy wonderful outdoor performances: French orchestral music, open bluegrass jams, twilight open mic, chamber music, and experimental dance/theater. Grab a blanket and take in free summer movies in local parks: Captain America: Brave New World and The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert.
