Spring must be here! Just look at the fantastic Wisteria blossoming at my house, and my thoughts are turning to new baby chickens and fixing up neglected flower beds (with drought tolerant plants, of course).
Besides everything else I'm involved with, training my Flat Coated Retriever puppy, Jett, is going very well. He's now a big seven months old! A Sweetheart!
I had a wonderful time painting outdoors yesterday on Highway 46 West, between Paso Robles and Cambria, CA, at the top of the mountain range, llooking toward Morro Bay with layer after layer of Emerald Hills.
I'm not used to painting such GREEN hills! It's going to take some figuring out, and I'll be back at the same spot next week.
I'm working on a a slew of new paintings for a June Solo Exhibit at the Cambria Center for the Arts in Cambria, CA, in June.
Stay tuned to see my recently completed "Guadalupe Dunes Nightfall" oils, 30" x 48", being photographed this week.! It's a soothing, calming painting.
Last chance to see this exhibit, extended to March 25th!
