Did Yeshus die on the Cross to save us from our "Sins"?
Many Catholics still have a belief that Yeshua died to save us from our sins. It is very ingrained in the indoctrination of the church.
Yet the word sin is connected to archery - which means to miss the mark. This quote gives more history.
"Sin translates the Hebrew word khata‘ and the Greek word hamartia. The most basic meaning of sin isn’t religious at all. Khata’ simply means “to fail,” or “miss the goal.” Like when the Israelite tribe of Benjamin trained a small army of slingshot experts, they could sling a stone at a hair and not khata’, that is, fail or miss"
Once we have this awareness then there is the question why was the "crucifixion" needed? it is a very metaphoric journey explained in this quote:
“Once you understand that Yeshua learned from his youth how to pass through crucifixion (dying to limitation) and resurrection (aligning with eternal life and original innocence), you can begin to allow for the possibility that he did not suffer to pay any form of debt. As you recall what I have shared with you about the Rite of the Sepulchre, you can also begin to understand that he did not die, even though all his vital signs ceased to support his physical body for a time. Having mastered the physical and subtle realms throughout his life, Yeshua did not suffer in the gruesome way you may have been taught, or that some subconscious part of you may insist that he did. He did not die for your sins! He lived to model love and forgiveness so that you could choose to live by the same qualities he demonstrated. I encourage you to let go of the idea that transformation, change, and detaching from the nails of limitation or crucifixion has to be a hard struggle, full of tragic drama and fraught with suffering. As you allow your separated consciousness to ‘die’ into unity consciousness, you may pass much more easily through your crucifixion initiation into resurrecting and ascending yourself as a living Christ.

A more empowering possibility is something much more interesting to contemplate. This additional quote opens up a completely different scenario- the anchoring of a new matrix of ascension codes that in our time are part of the energy shifts so many are feeling. I invite you to sit with that possibility.
“Yeshua was very familiar with the incredibly powerful flows of resurrecting energy that transforms on all levels. Now, his more enlightened consciousness began to enter back into his physical body, through the crown into the central channel or pranic tube. With his vital signs returned, the process of raising the immortal Christ body of light (what the Egyptians called Raising the Djed Rod or Osiris’ spine) began. As the energy increased, light began to be emitted. My grandson’s body became highly radioactive, sending out subatomic, pulsing vibrations. These high vibrations penetrated the acoustic chambers of the tomb and expanded through the planetary crystalline grids. There was a cosmic alignment that facilitated a new matrix of ascension codes to be imprinted throughout the Earth Mother’s body and atmosphere.”
