CELEBRATE MLK WEEKEND AT RIVERSIDE |
Saturday, January 19: 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm
Sunday, January 20: 2:00 pm & 6:00 pm
Turning 15 on the Road to Freedom tells the moving, true story of Lynda Blackmon, the youngest person to walk all the way from Selma to Montgomery, Alabama, on the Voting Rights March in 1965. Jailed nine times before her 15th birthday, Lowery fought alongside Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. to secure the right to vote for African Americans.

Join Pastor Amy Butler and author Lynda Blackmon Lowery for a talkback following the performance on Saturday, January 19th and Sunday, January 20th at 2:00 pm. The Riverside Inspirational Choir will offer a pre-show performance at both matinee showings.
