Picture of the Month
Originally from Tacoma, Linda Evans has been a fan of tall masted ships since childhood. The first time Linda saw Adventuress, the ship was under full sail in Elliott Bay. The more she finds out about Adventuress' history and mission, the more she appreciates her sitings.
This photo was taken in 2010 from the south west corner of Magnolia Bluff. "The lighting was great and the juxtaposition of the two boats were irresistible," said Linda. "I was very lucky to get this as far away as I was." She used a Canon 100-400 lens.
Thank you for your submission, Linda!
