Melges IC37 Deliveries Gathering Pace
Seahorse Magazine called the IC37 project “Thought Through” in an
article in their latest edition on the dream team behind this new class.
IC37 hull 004 has been delivered to the NYYC from US builder Westerly Marine, and a recent visit to UK builder Fibre Mechanics confirmed they have completed mold building, and will soon have their first boats delivered to double the volume to help meet demand. Two more orders each from Italy and Canada would bring the Class to World Sailing Recognised Class status, a remarkable feat only one year from inception.
