The Yankee Meadows Reservoir Outing is scheduled for June 20th and 21st (Friday and Saturday). There are usually good hatches of aquatic insects this time of year. Callibaetis mayflies and Damselflies are on the trout's menu (dry fly patterns as well as nymphs). We have done well with scud and leech patterns also. Of course the standard wooly buggers are a good choice. 

There is no cell service so we communicate via walkie-talkie on channel 3-29.

The Otter Creek Outing is scheduled for June 25-28. The water temperatures are approaching 70 degrees already (68 degrees today). We will have to exercise caution and fish early and late, taking a break during the heat of the day. The East Fork of the Sevier River could be an afternoon alternative.
