Scholarship Banquet

Hopewell M. B. Church cordially invites you to their seventh Annual Scholarship Banquet to be held on Friday, November 5, 2010 at 6:00 PM. Theme for the banquet is “Learning is a Lifelong Process” our guest speaker will be Rev. Marvin A. McMickle Ph.D, pastor of Antioch Baptist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Banquet will be help in Fellowship Hall; tickets are available for $25 per person. All proceeds go to Hopewell’s Scholarship fund. To purchase a ticket contact the Education department. Annual Community-Wide Senior Citizen Dinner

The Women's Mission of Hopewell will have their Annual Community-Wide Senior Citizen Dinner on November 6, 2010 at 11:00 a.m. in the church fellowship hall. All senior citizens are invited to join us for this awesome event.

Transportation will be provided upon request, pleae contact the church office for addtional details.

Men's Day Committee, I would like to send out a sincere and heart-felt "THANK YOU"!!!! As Always, the entire Hopewell family pulled together to make this Men's Day one that won't soon be forgotten!! To the men, Thank You from the bottom of my heart for all of the hard work that each of you carried out on behalf of the Men's ministry. The dedication that you showed towards making this year's Men's Day a success was AWESOME!!

The giving of your gifts, time and talents to ensure that we gave God our best was simply amazing; each of you truly accepted the challenge of our theme to "MAN UP"! To the rest of the Hopewell Family, Thank you for your excitement and participation in every aspect of this year's celebration. Parents if you have a child in college (away or if still living at home), please send their mailing address to Charlene Hambrick at doz@hopewellmbc.org.

Daughters Of Zion Outreach Committee would like to send students encouraging messages to continue on in their education and to let them know their church family is praying for them and support them in their journey.

Emergency Roadside Kits

Deacon WD Strong and Deacon Bobby Petty are providing “FREE” emergency roadside kits to all the college students. These kits contain everything you need in case of an emergency. Please see Deacon Strong or Deacon Petty after church worship service to pick your kit.
