ADR: The New Contours of Rule 114
You may have heard that Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice for
the District Courts has finally been amended, effective January 1, 2023.
Some of the changes are unsurprising and consistent with the prior rule, often
strengthening the standards. Other changes might surprise you! Join teacher,
trainer and ADR practitioner Leslie Sinner McEvoy for a lively look at what you
need to know now about the changes and how they may impact your practice –
whether you are a neutral or advocate.

Resolve to Be Resilient
Oliver Goldsmith is credited with the observation, “Success consists of getting
up just one more time than you fall.” Picking ourselves up after we fall is the
essence of resilience. At its core, resilience is a set of skills people learn
over time. Like all skills, resiliency skills can be learned, taught, and
improved. This program offers an overview of resilience and features practical
advice on developing personal resilience skills. Sometimes we need more than
resilience, and the program will also address mental health and resources
available for support.
