We firmly believe knowing how to cook is a right and skill we are quickly losing site of. It is a path to self-sufficiency, health, togetherness and so much more. With that in mind, we have always attempted to offer classes for every budget and we're so thrilled that this newsletter is chock full of an awesome variety of classes! Join us this summer for this special line-up. CHEF-LED PIZZA CLASS (4-12 YRS) Our ched-led fundraiser class at MILKFLOWER, a wood-fired pizza restaurant, was rescheduled. Please join us! Sunday, July 17, 3:00-4:00PM Students will be making an Allergic to Salad-inspired vegetarian pizza. This chef-led class will be followed by TWO WEEKS of fundraising. From July 17 thru July 31 the proceeds of all orders of the ATS-inspired pizza will return tax-free to Allergic to Salad. We'll use the monies to purchase equipment to use in our NYC public school classes. Please, even if you cannot make it to class, be sure to eat at Milkflower during fundraising weeks to support our work bringing affordable healthy cooking to NYC youth. In our Kids Can Cook Too! classes, children 4 thru 15 should register with their Children's Librarian to join us in some seasonal salsa fun. Don't see your local library listed below?
