Get out for the 14th Annual Riverkeeper Sweep!
|
|
|
Our Go Green BK calendar is bursting with fun and free/low-cost greentastic events, that celebrate and care for our beautiful world. Go birding, fishing, and make eco-art for a climate parade. Take a natural dyes class, a nature-inspired theater workshop, and a pollinators and insects walk. Get fit with pilates, zumba, and an uplifting wellness walk. Learn to sew. Unwind with like-minded knitters. Enjoy chamber music at a boathouse, a bonsai workshop at your favorite local, and fascinating walks that comprise Jane’s Walks. Take your fur-babies to a canine meet-up in the park. Drop by a seed library, a plant giveaway, a plant swap, a clothing swap, and a resource giveaway.

Take your kiddos to Riverlandia: an immersive sound story experience, climate song and storytime, nature craft and guided storytime, early nature experiences, and enviro STEM workshops at our local libraries: Eastern Parkway Library, Kensington Library, Saratoga Library, The Annex Library. There’s also STEAMFEST Madness for 4th and 5th Graders. Check out Cub Scouts Pack 7 (coed) for your elementary schoolers and Boy Scouts Troop 26 for your middle and high schoolers. Camping, cooking, fishing, hiking, volunteering, and more. The scouts went on a shooting sports camping trip last weekend and are going camping again this weekend. Join the fun!
