Our Go Green BK calendar is bursting with fun and free/low-cost greentastic events, that celebrate and care for our beautiful world. Go birding and kayaking. Take an outdoors art class. Explore using natural materials to dye fabric. Enjoy a Juneteenth historical walk, a Brooklyn Bridge historical walk, a Caribbean festival, a Brooklyn Bridge waterfront walk, and a bonsai workshop at your favorite local brewery. Get fit with yoga, zumba, and an uplifting wellness walk. Unwind with like-minded knitters. Check out Make Music NY performances, the Mermaid Parade, chamber music performances, experimental dance/theater performances, a Shakespeare performance, and a spectacular fireworks show. Grab a blanket and take in a free summer movie in local parks and park centers: American Hustle, Inside Out 2, Paddington in Peru, and Wicked.
