Little Dresses for Africa 2022 Update |

So many fantastic blessings continue through Little Dresses for Africa, in spite of the pandemic and halt of travel. Our "Play, Protect & Provide" Big Dinner 2021 raised the money needed to complete the wall around our Hope Preschool. Our enrollment will increase as a result of the protection of the wall which leads to our preschool being self-sustaining. Our two sewing centers continue to turn out graduates with skills that support families in Malawi. Our warehouse continues to be filled with blessings you share which are shipped in 40ft containers. We have installed a total of 72 wells to date, providing clean water for at least 250,000 people. And on this side of the ocean, our talented and generous groups, continue to sew beautiful dresses, cute boys shorts, and the very necessary washable menstrual pads (sani-pani's) for our Dignity Program. Many send along packages of new panties and safety pins to go with them. Volunteers continue to meet at LDFA and open boxes, measure and fold dresses and pack items to be sent out. A special thank you to those of you that are able to help with shipping costs. Our job is not complete until these little dresses are on the backs of the little girls who need them so desperately. We are so grateful for your continued support and excited to be in partnership with you all to fulful the LDFA mission: Glorify God, Serve Mankind & Walk in Obedience. Thank you. Love, Rachel

LDFA has installed 72 wells in Malawi. A well can be sponsored for $5500 and you will join the sponsors on the "Well Wall of Fame" at LDFA Headquarters. A picture of your well with your name or the name of your honoree will be sent to you, along with the name of the Village in which it is installed. A well provides clean water for over 3000 people and saves lives immediately. This is a great way to sponsor a gift that continues to give for years to come. THE BIG DINNER 2021 "Play, Protect and Provide" raised funds to build a brick wall around our preschool in Lumbadzi. Our goal is for our programs to become self-sufficient. Our private preschool provides income to pay not only our teachers, but the sewing Center Instructor as well. The brick wall will protect the children while they play and learn and will increase enrollment resulting in the school becoming financially independent. |
