Heart to Heart Zoom connection call Jan 13
The Witch Wound
I recently listed to a very powerful podcast that touched on many topics that felt worthy of a deeper exploration. I will be diving into some of the topics discussed in the next few newsletters.
I strongly believe and agree with Mia that one of the hidden barriors to women owning their own power and intuition and speaking their truth stems from a past life where it was not safe to do so. The persecution of healers and those aligned with nature in past lives has affected many of us with something that seems to keep us living a "safe" life. The conversation explores how the persecution of healers and those aligned with nature has affected both men and women.
Some aspects of the Witch Wound
- Historically, healers and naturopaths were seen as doctors, and killing them was as absurd as killing modern doctors.
- The church's role in colonizing and massacring people who worked with nature is highlighted, leading to the suppression of true power and magic.
- The fear of standing up against external authorities is a common theme, with the church being a prime example.
- The fear of speaking out against the church led to secret practices and the vilification of those who worked with nature.
- We can begin to contemplate how the killing of women left behind men who felt like failures, leading to lashing out or acting out.
- The importance of reclaiming a sovereign connection with God and the divine
- the importance of relating to God through nature and the elements, seeing them as reflections of the divine within us.
Important aspects of healing the Witch Wound
- Reclaim our innate divine magic, supernatural gifts, and ability to speak our truth.
- Reconnect with the divine as reflected in nature and all around us.
- Reclaim the feminine aspects within us, such as sexuality, creativity, and emotions, that have been villainized.
-
Summary of the podcast:
The conversation delves into the historical and contemporary impact of the "witch wound," exploring how the persecution of healers and those aligned with nature has affected both men and women. The discussion highlights the suppression of feminine power, creativity, and sexuality, and the importance of reclaiming these aspects. Mia Majik emphasizes the significance of sacred sexuality, emotional catharsis, and the use of herbs for healing. There is also a discussion of the role of priestesses in reclaiming lost arts and the concept of divine union through embodying feminine energies. The conversation touches on the spiritual practices of Mary Magdalene and the transformative power of energy work.
I will explore more of this in the next newsetter. The Heart to Heart call on the 13 is open to sharing how the Witch Wound is still impacting us today, It is also a beautiful segue into the books studies that are coming

Updoming Book Studies
Return of the Divine Sophia
Healing the Earth through the Lost Wisdom Teachings of Jesus, Isis and Mary Magdalene
Tricia McCannon
If you are interested in deepening your understanding of the wisdom teachings and also connecting into the energy that is opening on planet Earth, please consider attending this book study. The classes are structured so that participants are able to choose their level of participation with discussions for each class designed to call on wisdom and insights from participants that present new perspectives on the topics. This is a profound book and very connected into what is needed as we see the increase in patriarchy and control on the planet.
From the publisher:
- Reveals the lost teachings of Jesus about the Divine Mother and Father and how the goddess Sophia is connected to Mary Magdalene as the Female Christ
- Explores the many archetypes of the Goddess, including Isis, Brigit, and the Black Madonna, and how we can transform into Homo luminous, spiritual beings of light
Called through her dreams by the Priestesses of Isis, Tricia McCannon set out on a spiritual journey into the Mysteries of the Goddess. After a fateful encounter with a high initiate of the ancient Fellowship of Isis, she began researching the history of Judaism and Christianity to find out how and when the Divine Feminine became lost. She discovered a forgotten age when the Creator was honored as female and humanity lived in peaceful societies completely free of war. She shows how we can return to an age of peace and celestial light if we work to bring the masculine and feminine energies of the world back into balance.
Sharing her journey into the heart of the Divine Mother, McCannon details her initiation into the Fellowship of Isis, a process rich with ceremony, ritual, and myths of the Goddess from ancient Egyptian, Celtic, Greek, Hebrew, and Native American traditions. She reveals how the many archetypes of the Goddess, including Isis, Ishtar, Brigit, and the Black Madonna, can become our allies for self-transformation. She explores Mysteries at the heart of Christianity that have remained hidden for nearly 2,000 years and how the Gnostic goddess Sophia is tied to the Second Coming, Mary Magdalene, and the Female Christ. She reveals the lost teachings of Jesus about the Divine Mother and Father and about the Divine Daughter and Son.
Through her story and her in-depth research, McCannon takes us on a journey to awaken the creative power of the Divine Feminine within each of us. Equipped with the teachings of the Goddess, we gain the mastery to overcome the deeply rooted masculine-feminine imbalance of the patriarchy and to embark into the future as Homo luminous, beings of light.

Please join me and others around the word Sunday at noon MST for a 15 minute meditation focusing on the world you would like to see. There is no Zoom link. it is purely sitting in your time zone at that time for a 15 minute meditation.
There is a very strong power that happens when we come together in consciousness holding a vision of a world where all are living in harmony.
it is very well known how mass global meditations can profoundly affect world affairs. Never underestimate the power you innately hold to influence positive change.
If you begin this practice I would love to hear from you about your experience. |
