The new Spring catalog of Chala purses has arrived, with many new styles and designs to choose from.

   I will bring purses and Mimbleballs (soft toy balls) to the Rosebowl, Sunday, April 11^th, from 9am to 3pm—and the new Chala catalog.

   World Art Day, as proclaimed by a United Nations-related group IAA (Int’l Assn of Art) falls each year on April 15^th, Leonardo DaVinci’s birthday.

   People and cities around the world celebrate World Art Day in various ways.

   This year I am focusing on “How Can a Business Help the Artist?” I have decided to give away either a set of sheets or a bamboo towel set, your choice, to someone who buys a painting from my store, or my yard art display, offer good through April 15^th. Imagine if every business would give something to a customer if they bought a painting. You would have an infusion of funds into the arts!

   At my Simi Valley Farmers Market booth on April 9, 2021, a young woman bought a painting like the one pictured, and she received a free bamboo towel set. The customer was impressed that the artist painted this from her imagination.

   On World Art Day, Thursday, April 15^th, I have invited artists to show their work in my yard, in celebration of World Art Day. We will wear masks and social distance. The snacks, provided by New Castle Remodeling, Inc, will be individually wrapped. (We will not have the usual Kids Table where a lot of people are touching the art supplies and will not have a circle of seated people listening to the Open Mic of poetry, stories, etc, this year.) By the way, if you want to bring art, you are welcome (and easels if you have them—otherwise I will have a couple of tables.)

   The sheets and bamboo towels that I am giving away to those who buy art are the linens I have in stock. There may be an additional charge if I order a special color.

   You can also see my colorful rock stack painting in a virtual exhibition, which will begin on World Art Day, April 15, and run through May 15, 2021. The show will be hosted on the IAA/USA website - www.IAA-USA.org. A print of the rock stack painting is available for purchase from me.
