As Friday October 6th came to a close, so did our harvest. Despite the funny weather year, complete with extreme heat, cool stretches, rain, and hail, we ended up with good looking clusters and tasty fruit. We were excited to get all grapes off the vine with good stats (sugars, pH's and TA's). Overall we are anticipating really nice wine from the 2017 harvest.
Several weeks before the end of harvest we started welcoming the newest batch of babies (calves) to the ranch! This is a wonderful time of year to be on the ranch. The nights are cooler, new calves are born every day, and the vines are preparing for a nice long sleep.
If you want to see more photos of the vineyard, wine, calves, and all of what is happening around the ranch, check us out
here (you don't have to be on Instagram to see the photos).
We are rolling out a few major changes with the wine that we are really excited to tell you about, details to come in the next few weeks. Stay tuned! Thank you to all of you who have joined the wine club. The next shipment is due in early November. For more information on how to join you can go
