Friends,
I hope that you have enjoyed time with friends and families in the Christmas season!
At Highlands, we have much to be grateful for this year.
- We have had a wonderful year of summer camp and retreat ministry.
- We have known the joy of helping children, youth, and adults grow deeper in their relationships with Jesus Christ, despite many challenges and some significant losses.
- We have reveled in the beauty of this beautiful location, even as we listened to the Hallelujah Chorus at Dave’s memorial service.
- We have known generosity from many . . . . with gifts of knowledge, skills, time and financial resources.
- We have been blessed, protected and loved throughout this year.
As this year draws to a close and we anticipate 2013, I hope that you will keep Highlands in your prayers. First, with prayers of gratitude for the blessings we have known. I also hope you’ll pray for Summer Staff who are already beginning to apply, and our ministry in 2013. We look forward to many things . . . especially expanding our Day Camp Partnerships and adding Mission Work Camps to our summer. Please pray that Highlands will continue to help people of all ages grow deeper in their faith.
