Five Latest Book Titles
We just added 5 new titles to our ever-growing list, mapping original land-owners for select counties in Missouri, Iowa,
Texas, and North Dakota.
Check them out at www.arphax.com.
If you're curious about titles released in the last few months, we are archiving our last few front-pages so you can peruse the many titles we released in those months. Here are the "former" home-pages that announced many new books: December (40 new titles), February (6 new titles), and March (5 new titles).
Map Software Survey a Big Success (and it's not too late to participate)
Our last newsletter asked you to participate in a a short, 6-Question Survey to help shape the future of Map Software that we are currently developing. And the responses we received were both MANY and AWESOME! We want to start by thanking those of you who took a few minutes to tell us your likes and dislikes about current map software and your "wish-list" for the perfect mapping software. Your efforts will affect the future of historical and genealogical mapping. That's a promise.
For those who would still like to have input into what is certain to be a groundbreaking piece of software, we're going to leave the survey open for at least another month. You can still participate at this link: Arphax Map Software Survey.
If the link above doesn't work, then copy and paste this URL into your browser's address box:

For those who've already participated in the survey, we always welcome any additional thoughts that may come to mind. Please drop us a note at info@arphax.com.

So, What Does "Arphax" Mean? (Hint: it's Biblical & it's Not)
We think the tragic character of the 19th-Century Arphax is a great reminder of why we as historical and genealogical researchers do what we do. Please check out What Does Arphax Even Mean?, nestled among answers to our most Frequently Asked Questions.
You may want to browse up and down the rest of that page for answers to other questions which have come to mind while using our Family Maps and Texas Land Survey Maps series.
California Land Patents to be Mapped!
Our first-ever California book will be announced next month. These California volumes are shaping up to be just great additions to our work (and yours). There are lots of people, lots of Native Americans, and lots of everything (California counties are HUGE!). We will get back with you on this one . . . Stay Tuned!
That's it for this month. Thanks again for your wonderful support and we look forward to seeing you out on the research trail!
