Lots of New Panama and Argentina Coverage
| Our Costa Rica based correspondent Beverly Gallagher has been busy in Panama the past couple months and we've got a lot of new features and reviews that have just been posted.
She runs down the real estate situation in the Azuero Peninsula, the refreshingly underhyped home to the great Villa Camilla hotel run by the group heading up the best development there. We also have a story on the legendary billfish and sailfish trip opportunities in the Pacific region from the Pearl Islands to the Darien.
We have also added Hacienda del Mar, one of those "in the know" hotels that's on one of the Pearl Islands, as well as a resort that opened as instantly the best of the Pacific Coast, the Bristol Buenaventura. See these on the Panama Luxury Hotels page.
If you were on the fence about visiting Argentina, then the three new feature stories up now might have you booking a plane ticket. We've got a great tour of northern Patagonia arranged by Mai10 agency in Buenos Aires, and tours around Salta and the wine region of Cafayate through Grapevine Wine Tours. Check it out in the Luxury Travel in Argentina section.

New Hotels in Mexico
| I am currently checking out new resorts in the Riviera Maya, but before that I got to spend some time in colonial Central Mexico, where I visited two hotels that are clearly the best in town. We now have reviews posted for Quinta Real Zacatecas (housed in a former bullfighting ring) and Quinta Real Aguascalientes. See our rest of Mexico section for these one-off reviews.
A few weeks back we also posted a real estate story from the Lake Bacalar region of Mexico. Just down the road from the popular Cancun and Riviera Maya regions, this sleepy (for now) area offers some great investment opportunities at a reasonable price.
