Pilates for Skiers programme is a 6-week pre-recorded programme was launched in December but will remain accessible and ongoing until end of February 2024.
Designed for anyone, even those new to Pilates, this specialized programme is crafted to prepare your body for the challenges of the slopes. Integrating seamlessly with your existing workout routines, the focus is on enhancing strength and stability through Pilates-based exercises. The primary goal is to establish a robust foundation, equipping your body to tackle skiing's demands and fortifying muscles and joints to prevent injuries.
Anticipate a blend of high-repetition, high-endurance exercises, and stability drills in a standing position. The classes, ranging from 20 to 30 minutes, are conveniently accessible anywhere with just a mat and occasionally a chair.
The programme kicks off on Monday, December 11th, spanning six weeks. but you'll retain access to the classes until the end of February 2024. This means that you can start anytime but ideally at least 6-weeks prior to your skiing trip!
Every Monday at 8 am (BST) for six weeks, an email containing the link to that week's class will be delivered.
