Gopsons Paper is one of the largest book printing units in the country, with printing carried out at Sector 64 in Noida and at Sivakasi in Tamilnadu.
Indian Printer and Publisher spoke to Sunil Dutt Goel, MD, Gopsons Papers, to understand more about its operations.
In a bid to improve reach and reader experience, the 65-year-old Rajkamal Prakashan Group has gone digital. With the help of TABiT Books, they plan to make over 5,000 titles available globally on desktops, mobile phones and tablets by April 2016.

Printdesk, a prepress and digital print business in Kolkata, which has grown rapidly in the last nine years has opted for a new C1060 color digital press from Konica Minolta. In conversation with
Indian Printer and Publisher, Nitin Bhatia, proprietor of Printdesk says, “The new C1060 has not only helped me in increasing my working speed but has also given me an option of glossy print output along with the matte output which my KM 6000 is already providing.”
Pune-based Deco Prints, which recently installed a new Ricoh C651ex, to print brochures, catalogs, visiting cards, invitation cards, and stickers is also a dealer of printing inks. Starting out as a shop selling printing materials in 1977, Deco Prints now operates its digital printing operations from a 1,000 square foot plant in the Pimpri area of Pune.
