So why does the last month of summer sometimes leave you feeling down. It turns out experiencing anxiety and depression is pretty common in August,
Depression and anxiety at the end of summer can often be equated to situational events, like the start of school, the end of vacation. You are not alone there are many summer-lovers who experience this strange end-of-summer funk.
Use August to just take a breath and get a little rest. August is a transitional month between summer and fall, so treat it that way. Channel your inner-introvert and take a few extra days to yourself, rather than trying to "make the most" of the last bits of summer. Read that book that's been collecting dust, go for a walk or drive. Most of all ignore social media, stop scrolling through everyone’s vacation photos on Facebook. People present their best lives on social media to make their friends think they’re having fun all the time. Newsflash: No one’s having fun all the time, so you’re really not missing out on anything. Obsessing over what you’re seeing on social media, which is a highly curated version of your friends’ lives, is only going to make you feel worse.
Turn it off and get out and do something you have fun doing. It’s your time to use however you want. ENJOY!
FYI... If sunflowers make you smile. A drive to the sunflower festival might be just for you. We have a sunflower maze and pick your own sunflower patch just outside London.

The end of summer is probably the best time for a facial because it removes all the buildup that accumulates on your skin from a long hot and humid summer.
Then again, there is really no right or wrong time of the year to get a facial. Actually, I recommend having a facial every six to eight weeks all year round to reap maximum benefits. The skin is the largest organ of the body, with a total area of about 20 square feet. It protects us from toxins, helps regulate body temperature, and permits the sensations of touch, heat, and cold.
Your skin is an incredible multitasker and because it is responsible for so much, there are several different factors that can impact the health of your skin:
Environmental toxins and pollution
Hormone Imbalances
Medical conditions, like diabetes and
autoimmune diseases
Poor Diet and Lifestyle
Chronic Stress
Lack of sleep
Dehydration
Smoking
Your skin cells regenerate every 14-28 days, there are many at-home solutions like sonic cleansing brushes, facial scrubs, products with exfoliating acids or enzymes, and, of course, retinol, which isn’t technically an exfoliant, but does increase cell turnover. All of these things can help you maintain healthy, clear skin between facial treatments.
If you are new to facials now is the perfect time to start. Reserve time with our skin care professional to discuss your skins needs. We’ll teach you how to keep your skin healthy so you look your best every day.
Let's put your best face forward this fall!

As seasons change, so can some aspects of your skincare routine. Take the summer-to-fall transition, for instance. Flip flops get swapped for ankle booties, iced coffees get traded for pumpkin spice lattes, and days at the beach are replaced by cozy nights indoors.
As for your skincare, cooler temperatures can signal significant changes in your skin, which may require you to reevaluate the tried-and-true products you used all summer and see if they're appropriate for the fall.
It's also a good time to clean out your makeup bag. Eye makeup should be replaced every 6 month. One common cause of eye infections, is eye makeup. This is particularly true when eye makeup is used past its expiration date because old eye makeup can contain high levels of germs.
Why not give those makeup brushes a good shampoo while you're at it.

Wild Yam & Licorice Exfoliant
Enzyme Infused Dermafoliant.
Gentle yet powerful, this multi-action exfoliant is recommended for all skin types and ages.
Papaya and pineapple enzymes are used for enzymatic exfoliation along side fine grains of rice, potato and oat starch to buff the skin resulting in a smoother texture.
Wild yam itself has anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and antioxidant properties.
This will combat the common redness and free radical damage we are more exposed to during the summer months.
It also has the ability to encourage new cell growth and combat pigmentation, common negative side effects on the skin from sun damage.
Licorice Root will work at combating post-inflammatory hyperpigmentation to brighten the skin, resulting from both sun damage and acne breakouts.
After cleansing, place a small amount of the powder into the palm of your hand and add water. Rub your hands together to create a creamy paste and massage into the skin for a few minutes and rinse.

A superior multi-beneficial serum that plumps, reshapes and firms the skin using the latest and most advanced hyaluronic acid science-based technology.
Ultra filling Spheres are created through combining hyaluronic acid and konjac root which will grab onto water molecules and expand like a water balloon below the surface of the skin.
This expansion causes increased hydration to combat crepe dehydrated skin, as well as a tightening effect to smooth out the formation of fine lines and create a more youthful skin appearance.
Give your skin the lift it deserves.
